Ira Levin's stage works include No Time for Sergeants, Veronica’s Room, and Deathtrap (the longest-running thriller in Broadway history). Among his novels are A Kiss Before Dying, Rosemary’s Baby, The Stepford Wives, and The Boys from Brazil. Born in New York City in 1929, Ira is an alumnus of the Horace Mann School and New York University. He has won two Edgar Allen Poe awards and serves on the council of the Dramatists Guild.

Milton Schafer trained as a concert pianist in Paris with Nadia Boulanger. His first writing success was the music and lyrics to the Danny Kaye album, Mommy Gimme a Drink of Water. His first Broadway show was Bravo Giovanni starring Michele Lee and Cesare Siepi. He is currently working on the musicalization of Kate Simon’s Bronx Primitive. In his spare time he writes children’s books - That Crazy Barbara and I’m Big.
