Abram Ginnes (Book) wrote the 1958 Broadway play Drink To Me Only and the 1969 MGM film Gaily, Gaily.

Jay Livingston & Ray Evans (Music & Lyrics) have been a musical team since 1934 when they played together in the University of Pennsylvania "Continentals." Three-time Oscar winners for "Mona Lisa," "Que Sera Sera," and "Buttons and Bows," they are also members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. They have written for Michael Feinstein, Debbie Reynolds, Bob Hope, Mitzi Gaynor, Joel Grey, Cyd Charisse, Polly Bergen, and Nat King Cole, among others. Nearly one half billion recordings of their songs have been sold, including such all-time favorites as "Tammy," "Silver Bells," "Dear Heart," and "In The Arms of Love." They also wrote the memorable theme songs to many television shows including, Bonanza, Mr. Lucky and Mr. Ed.
